Biography
Originally from Ohio, Katy grew up in Cobb County and recently moved to Cherokee County. She studied accounting at DeKalb State College and brought a diverse background in accounting, business management, insurance, and IT when she joined the firm in 1997 as a legal secretary.
Just two years later, Katy transitioned into a management role, quickly becoming a key member of the firm’s leadership. Over nearly three decades, she has played a crucial role in the firm’s growth and evolution. As Chief Operating Officer, Katy oversees daily operations, including human resources, financial analysis, budgeting and planning, billing, and more—ensuring efficiency and alignment with the firm’s long-term goals.
Katy is an active member of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) and the Atlanta Chapter of the ALA.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, whether they’re exploring new destinations, cycling scenic routes, or soaking in the energy of live concerts.
