The defendant had the minimum liability policy limits.  The carrier made multiple offers to tender.   Months before trial, the defendant made an additional personal contribution offer of $20,000 and title to 6.5 acres of land.  The Plaintiffs refused to accept and their last demand before trial was for $700,000.
