Biography

Ryan Brightman joined Waldon Adelman in 2022.  Prior to joining the firm, Ryan served as judicial staff attorney to several superior court judges in the Paulding Judicial Circuit.  In addition to his work on misdemeanor and felony criminal cases and family law matters, Ryan gained years of experience with general civil litigation including actions in tort and contract, preparing him for his current practice at Waldon Adelman.  Today, Ryan handles a variety of matters from facilitating early pre-litigation settlements, to investigating and litigating coverage issues, to advocating for his clients on appeal.

Previously, Ryan also represented the State of Georgia under the third-year practice act in the Houston Circuit District Attorney’s Office and interned through the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council in the Cordele Circuit District Attorney’s Office.

Away from work, Ryan can be found watching JEOPARDY!, playing NYT word puzzles, obsessing over his lawn, and spending time with his wife, two (2) sons, and miniature dachshund.
