Patrick Smith

Biography

Joining the firm in fall 2025, Patrick Smith practices in the areas of insurance defense and civil litigation. Before joining Waldon Adelman, Patrick earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was a member of the moot court team. His experiences competing on the Vis International Arbitration team and the Emory Civil Rights and Liberties team helped him develop a passion for legal advocacy.

Prior to law school, Patrick attended Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and his Masters of Business Administration. While at Lipscomb, he was a 5-year member of the Bisons’ Division I cross country and track and field teams. In his free time, Patrick enjoys running, watching the English Premier League, and cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs.
