
Biography
After representing the firm for more than two decades, Kim McNamara became a Named Partner in 2023. Her areas of expertise include insurance defense, insurance coverage, bad faith, motor vehicle liability, and civil litigation.
Admitted to practice in all Georgia trial and appellate courts and the Northern District of Georgia, Ms. McNamara is a recognized authority in her field. She has been repeatedly honored by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star since 2011, and her insights are sought after by colleagues and clients alike.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. McNamara served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael J. Reagin in the United States District Court – Southern District of Illinois. She earned her law degree from Washington University in 2002 and her undergraduate degrees in Political Science and French from Auburn University in 1998. Her fluency in French, honed through a Master of French Studies program in Paris, adds a unique dimension to her practice.
Outside of work, Kim is passionate about travel, reading, and politics. She enjoys staying active and as an animal lover, welcomes any activity where she can bring her two dogs, Oliver and Addie. She also serves on the board for a nonprofit focused on helping those recovering from spinal cord injuries.
