Biography

Kayla Bell is a dedicated litigator whose background in journalism brings a unique edge to her legal practice. Since joining the firm in 2017, she has focused on providing robust defense for clients in complex insurance defense and general civil litigation matters.

Before entering law, Ms. Bell leveraged her investigative skills as a newspaper reporter in South Texas, having graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. This rigorous foundation in evidence gathering and narrative construction is invaluable in the courtroom.

Ms. Bell earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law. While at Emory, she honed her legal analysis as a managing editor of the Emory International Law Review and published a compelling article on national security and media relations. Her legal experience is further shaped by time spent interning for federal judges in the Southern District of Texas and the Northern District of Georgia, as well as working in the tort and environmental law group of an international law firm.

Outside the office, Ms. Bell can be found keeping up with current events, cooking, and strategizing with her team at pub trivia.
